The two title fights headline the card, with champion Isreal Adesanya slaying his kickboxing demons by taking on the only fighter he's ever lost to in martial arts, Alex Pereira. The co-main event sees Carla Esparza defending her belt against Weili Zhang. After back-to-back losses caused Rose Namajunas to lose her belt, she is looking to reclaim what is hers.
