About The Hammer

The Hammer Betting Network is a fast-growing sports betting media company producing trusted and entertaining content across YouTube, social platforms, and podcasts. We’re home to respected voices in the betting industry and have built a strong, engaged audience by focusing on quality, transparency, and personality.

The Role

We’re looking for someone to help grow The Hammer’s social presence across X (Twitter), TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts. You’ll help post daily content, repurpose clips from our shows, engage with the sports betting community, and play a hands-on role in how our brand shows up online.

This is a junior position with modest compensation. It's ideal for someone looking to get a foot in the door in the sports media or betting space. You don’t need years of experience—we care more about your instincts, creativity, and understanding of how content spreads online.

What You'll Do

  • Run the day-to-day posting on X, TikTok, IG, and YouTube Shorts
  • Write captions, memes, and clever copy that fits our tone and the betting space
  • Cut and edit short-form video clips using CapCut, Final Cut, or similar tools (or be willing to learn fast)
  • Stay on top of what’s trending in sports and Gambling Twitter
  • Engage with the community in-platform to increase visibility and reach
  • Work with the Director of Marketing and our content leads to help amplify shows and brand messaging
  • Support any social needs tied to partner promotions or internal campaigns
  • Track performance across platforms and share insights

Who We're Looking For

  • You get social media—how it works, what performs, and why
  • You're active on (and understand the culture of) Gambling Twitter
  • You’ve grown a social account before—either your own, someone else’s, or as part of a project
  • You’re creative, fast-moving, and know how to jump on a trend without being corny
  • You’ve worked with short-form video content, or are comfortable learning on the fly
  • You don’t need micromanagement and can take initiative
  • Based in Toronto/GTA is a plus, but remote is completely fine

  • This is a junior, entry-level position with a corresponding compensation range
  • We’re upfront about that, but we also believe the right person will grow quickly in this role
  • You’ll work with a brand that’s highly respected across the betting space
  • We value authenticity, collaboration, and creativity—and we hate corporate fluff
  • You’ll have the chance to build something real, and your work will get seen
