Damian Lillard could be on the move away from the Portland Trail Blazers very soon after the superstar point guard requested a trade away from the team after years of speculation. The Blazers are headed into a rebuild which has already been spinning its wheels for a couple of years while Lillard certainly looks to land on a contender where he can put himself in a position to win an NBA championship. Lillard has directly requested to be moved to reigning Eastern Conference champions, the Miami Heat, but the task of getting him there will not be easy based on the assets that Miami has available to trade nor are the Trail Blazers compelled in any way to abide by this request and send him there.
